Answer: An Instant Photo (also searched as instant camera clue / instant photographs) is a polaroid-style print for Freeze Frame. Pick up both photos in a zone together at the FBC hub, study the shot, then travel to that location to find the rogue AWE Camera (Altered Item). Missed photos can appear in Dylan’s apartment after the main story. Collected photos sit under inventory Key Items.

How to catch the Freeze Frame camera
Answer: Freeze Frame cameras freeze you if they see your face. To contain one:
- Find the zone’s Instant Photos and study where they were shot.
- Travel to that spot — a camera icon appears when you’re close.
- Sneak behind the AWE Camera and interact to close / shut the lid.
- If it sees you (front approach): you freeze, the camera despawns → leave until you hear a click → retry from a roof hatch, Power Core rear door, elevator loop, or gravity path that keeps you out of its cone.

Freeze Frame reward — Shiny Pebble
Answer: The CONTROL Resonant Freeze Frame reward is the Untapped Shiny Pebble artifact. Craft it at Artifact Formation in The Gap. Effect (launch guides): slowly restores health up to 50% while you’re on a Gravity Anomaly / using Shift-style gravity. Each contained camera also bumps that area’s Zone Level. CONTROL Resonant Central camera locations
Answer: Central has two Freeze Frame cameras after you grab Instant Photos from the Field Office wardrobe room:
- Watchtower camera (under Zoe’s office): Use Underground Supply Route, drop through the floor hole, loop above the camera and drop behind it.
- Warehouse roof: Let it freeze you once, clear Hiss inside the warehouse, then reverse the path and approach from behind.
Downtown Instant Photos, cameras & Freeze Frame finale
Downtown has two early cameras, then the multi-camera finale after all other zones are done.
Downtown zone cameras (before finale)
- Dense Patterning (east): Upside-down building looking through a door — stick to the roof with gravity, smash a hatch, drop in behind it.
- Portable FBC office (near Chasm): Charge a Power Core from the Deserted Area station, ferry the charge (use mid-route Core Stations before it fades), open the rear doors, close the lid from behind.
Downtown finale — Lookout Point
After all zone cameras, Zoe tips you that cameras are Downtown at Lookout Point / the FBC office near the Oldest House. Clear lids without being seen — getting caught can push the sequence back one step.
- East gateway into the office — enter and shut the lid.
- North rooftops overlooking the office (near a Health Point box) — approach from the building’s back.
- South FBC office rooftop — leap from southern rooftops over the barrier.
- North side (offices + ground) — enter via the northern gate.
- Southwest corner wall — again from southern rooftops.
- Northwest exterior elevator — drop from north rooftops.
- Center of the complex (frozen workers) — walk up behind the last camera to end the quest.
Evacuation Zone camera locations
- Rooftop south of Sinkhole: Power Core chain from Evac Building → checkpoint → parking-lot elevators to open the door behind the camera.
- Apartment / Florida billboard (Mold wall street): Get frozen, enter the building, take the elevator down, open doors from inside, retrace and hit it from behind.
West Incursion Zone cameras (Museum platforms)
- North gravity wall: Align on the anomaly wall, use the backed rooftop to drop behind.
- Window-cleaning platforms (near Museum of Curiosities): Leap via floating bollard / barrier platforms from behind.
The Park cameras — Nomad Avenue Station
- South Sewers exit / window platform: Power the west exterior elevator from the FBC street charge, jump platforms to the camera.
- Nomad Avenue Station: Camera in a Mold hallway on the right after street stairs — go to the platform, burn a door on the far side, loop behind.
Underpass camera locations
- Island east of Underpass Vendor: Drop under the island on stepping stones, adhere to the ceiling, clear Hiss at the hole, emerge behind the camera.
- Island south of Tubes Island: West side → invert gravity on the wall → fall sideways through a hole to land behind it.
Unknown camera locations
- Mold construction building: Enter from the floor above, clear Mold enemies so barriers drop, access from behind.
- Wear ’Em and Wash ’Em laundromat: Get frozen, go through the back, open the garage panel, let it respawn, re-enter from the rear.
